We all have our favourites, the people we love, adore and idolise, and unfortunately we can’t ALL be Liverpool fans, so this is where artwork by commission comes in. You can own an original pencil drawing of your choice, and it all starts by contacting me via the form at the bottom of the page.
A very special commission
Josh Laird was a very bright and handsome young teenage boy who unfortunately lost his battle with cancer in 2022 at the age of just 17.
His mum, Vicky, got in touch to see if I could possibly draw him for her husband Pete’s Birthday, as a surprise gift.
Their favourite picture of Josh was unfortunately quite low resolution with the original only accessible by the father on the old Laptop.
As you can imagine, this was quite a challenge but I was delighted with the result and Pete absolutely loved it!

Things to consider
Reference Photo

Any commission requires a reference photo. The higher the resolution the better. The best artwork needs a really good high quality starting point where possible.

Ideally there would be good contrast in your image. Please make sure the image you want me to draw is well lit and not in a dark room. It can be in colour but will be converted to black and white.

If you cannot find a great image of a celebrity or sports person, still get in touch because I may be able to find one for you. Personal images sent to me will not be shared online.
Choice of Paper Material

Clairefontaine Natural is a sandy coloured paper, acid free and pH neutral. This paper allows for white highlights to be added (see the Liverpool Player collection)

Canson Natural White is a fine grain textured white paper that adds fine roughness to blended tones.

Canson Bristol White is an extra smooth bright white paper capable of handling the finest of details.
You Buy Original Artwork

With commissions, you will receive the original pencil-drawn artwork. If you also require a printed copy, a scanning and printing service fee will be added.

Copies of any commissioned work requires professional scanning and printing service - this is an additional cost of £80 for the first copy and £40 for each additional copy after that.

Printed copies can be available in three different sizes: A4, A3 and A2

To get started on your commissioned artwork, I will need to know a few details such as who or what the image is of, what style of paper would you like it on and when would it be needed by if it is a gift/for an event. Please add these details in the form below and I will respond via email to answer any of your questions.
